Vitor Martins
Assistant Professor, PI GCER lab
Dr. Martins is an agricultural and biosystems engineer, with expertise in satellite remote sensing and deep learning. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University, and leads the GCER lab. He holds affiliated appointments with both the Agricultural Autonomy Institute and the Geosystems Research Institute, where he contributes to research at the intersection of technology, agriculture, and environmental systems.
Dr. Martins is dedicated to delivering large-area, complex geospatial data products to advance data-informed innovation in agriculture and environmental stewardship.
