Juliana Araujo

Graduate Student (PhD)

Juliana de Abreu Araujo is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University. She has a background in environmental engineering and professional experience as a data scientist in the geospatial industry, where she worked on large-scale remote sensing projects applied to agribusiness and forestry.

Her research integrates satellite imagery, deep learning, and field data to support digital agriculture, with a focus on crop monitoring, field boundary delineation, and agricultural insights. She is particularly interested in developing scalable geospatial tools for global crop mapping and sustainable land use assessment.
